Bug 60617

Summary: mail/evolution - wrong date in mail list with language zh_CN.EUC
Product: Ports & Packages Reporter: Stefan Eggers <seggers>
Component: Individual Port(s)Assignee: freebsd-gnome (Nobody) <gnome>
Status: Closed FIXED
Severity: Affects Only Me CC: seggers
Priority: Normal
Version: Latest
Hardware: Any
OS: Any

Description Stefan Eggers 2003-12-27 13:50:18 UTC
When using simplified Chinese (zh_CN.EUC) as language in a Gnome 2
environment (GDM_LANG and LANG environment variables set to zh_CN.EUC)
Ximian Evolution does use this language, too.

The problem arises when one views a mail folder. The list of the mails
is OK except for the date where it shows "-m" instead of the month, "-d"
instead of the day and "-H" instead of the hour.

This is similar to a bug in the calendar in gnomepanel. See below.

Fix:

x11/gnomepanel/files/patch-po_zh_TW.po version 1.1 seems to be a patch
for the same type of bug occuring in the calendar in gnomepanel.
How-To-Repeat: See full description.
