When i am trying to install FBSD 5.1, it gives me the following msg:       
"Unable to transfer the bin distribution from acd0c."

This could be cause by many things, without further information it's
unfortunatly impossible to locate the problem.

Now that I think about it, the bin distribution was renamed to 'base' in
FreeBSD 5.X.  Are you using a FreeBSD 4.X install CD/floppy to install
5.X ? That will not work.

Since 5.2 is out now, could you see if the problem still exists? If it
does please provide as much information as possible.  There might be
further error messages on the debug console (use ALT-F2 to see it).
