Product: Base System Reporter: Carl Mascott <cmascott>
Component: binAssignee: Remko Lodder <remko>
Status: Closed FIXED
Severity: Affects Only Me
Priority: Normal
Version: 4.8-RELEASE
Hardware: Any
OS: Any

Description Carl Mascott 2004-02-26 14:40:15 UTC
In response to the following command

	burncd -dn -f /dev/acd1c -s max data rootvar-20040225.cpio \
	usr-20040225.tar.lzo

the following error message appears on the system console

	acd1: SEND_CUE_SHEET - ILLEGAL REQUEST asc=0x26 ascq=0x00 \
	sks=0x00 0x00 0x10 error=0x04

DAO recording with this drive is OK under Win 95 with
Sony CD Extreme and Nero 6.0.

This problem (I think it's the same problem) has been
	reported before: PR #51421

Fix:

Unknown. Problem could be either in burncd or in kernel.
How-To-Repeat: Issue a burncd -d (DAO) command

Hello, some work had been done for atapi-cd recently, can you check whether
this is still 'broken' on RELENG_7 (please try a 7.0-BETA4 CD where possible)?

Also take ownership of the PR ticket
