The initial PR was about a virtual category. I really thing that this will end in a real category like others locale related. My model right now is port/portuguese. Going straight to this will save time and effort to all. The first move will be move strong maintaned ports to a brand new real spanish cathegory. openoffice: editors/ooodict-es_ES editors/openoffice-1.0-es editors/openoffice-1.1-es kde: misc/kde3-i18n-es misc/koffice-i18n-es Also, ports related to spanish now in the tree: www/frontpage-es After that, near reprocopy of actual support portuguese/aspell -> spanish/aspell (main and varians) no ispell support portuguese/php_doc-br -> spanish/php_doc-es webalizer-pr_BR -> webalizer-es ... The final step must be cope with brand new ports spanish support for mozilla(devel) / firefox / thunderbird spanish support for moz extensions ( calendar, chatzilla, enigmail ...) general desktop support for spanish some kinda of spanish instant-workstation The actual goal is more oriented to have good maintained ports that a really big category. There is some talks about support from the comunity after freebsd@es.freebsd.org and bsd@eldemonio.org - If a real category isn't needed, I'll follow up a new patch for a virtual category - If more ports in the tree are needed, let me know.
