Description Daniel K. Gebhart 2004-06-19 16:10:23 UTC
I just wanted to download freebsd and searched for a "download" link on
the webpage. But there is none and willing new users first have to crawl
through the ftp directories like a moron to find a downloadable iso image.

Would it be that hard just to add a simple "download" link on the main
webpage? The current situation makes me feel like using Windows where I've to press "start" to shutdown my system.

Fix:

<a href="ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ISO-IMAGES-i386/">download</a>
How-To-Repeat: $BROWSER http://www.freebsd.org/
