Bug 71691

Summary: PF related files missing ....
Product: Documentation Reporter: Thomas T. Veldhouse <veldy>
Component: Books & ArticlesAssignee: mlaier
Status: Closed FIXED
Severity: Affects Only Me
Priority: Normal
Version: Latest
Hardware: Any
OS: Any

Description Thomas T. Veldhouse 2004-09-13 02:50:24 UTC
The /etc/pf.conf file indicates that examples and related documentation should exist under /usr/share/pf, but it does not [exist anywhere]. Also, Max Laier indicated that perhaps /etc/pf.conf be moved [perhaps to /etc/pf.conf.example?] so that mergemaster doesn't accidentally blow away a perfectly good /etc/pf.conf file.

Fix:

Put examples and related doco in /usr/share/pf [and /usr/share/examples/pf].
How-To-Repeat: N/A

Committed to CURRENT. Thanks for the reminder. Please take a look and let me
know if you spot anything wrong/missing in order to do a clean MFC before
the release. Thanks!

The files have been brought to RELENG_5 as well and should be on the next
BETA disks.
