Description dak 2004-11-17 09:00:45 UTC
I have a Compaq Presario 2157EA laptop. Sometimes (~often) when I unplug the AC, the battery falls to 98% and stays forever locked at this value. Plugging back the AC correct the %.
If the AC is unplugged BEFORE booting, everything is fine.

How-To-Repeat: Unplug the AC.

Can you report any error messages that occur around the time the battery
status gets stuck? Also, please send a full dmesg and a URL to your
ASL file (acpidump -t -d | gzip -c > Presario_2157EA.asl.gz)
