rebuilt the kernel and all of the binaries and still get this error when I try to load mysql or php5 for apache.

Cannot load /usr/local/libexec/apache/libphp5.so into server: /usr/local/libexec/apache/libphp5.so: Undefined symbol "__xuname"

iav# uname -a

FreeBSD iav.com 5.3-STABLE FreeBSD 5.3-STABLE #1: Mon Nov 22 11:17:53 HST 2004 root@iav.com:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC i386

iav#

Ive tried:

installing an older versions of php (php4, mod_php4, mod_php5, php5) all still dont want to cooperate.
deleting the entire /usr/src and re-downloading via cvs
Then rebuilding the binaries and kernel

You have a broken system, since uname is in libc.
