ccid-0.9.2 is a very usefull driver that can handle many different CCID smart card readers (Gemplus, SCM, Omnikey...)

Fix: 

http://alioth.debian.org/download.php/755/ccid-0.9.2.tar.gz  has been out since August 2004. 

On the other hand, after trying to compile it myself I found out that it's looking for pcsc-lite-1.2.9-beta6 which is not in port (yet).

Suspended awaiting an interesting party to submit changes to create 
the port. 

In general it's unlikely that submitting requests for new ports 
via PRs, without patches, will attract much attention.  We currently 
have a backlog of 186 new ports, almost all of which have patches, 
and most committers seem to prefer to work on these.

You need to update pcsc-lite first with the patch at the same URL: 

I still need approval of the pcsc-lite maintainer and fix the fallout from 
the pcsc-lite update before i can commit it. 

I have been testing it with a GemplusTwin and a SCM Micro SPR532. 

If you try it, please write me your testresults.
