Apache team currently votes to promote apache 2.1.3 to "beta" which
means that few apache 2.1.x will be released and then apache 2.2.x,
the new stable branch will appear. There's no EOL planned for 2.0.x so
2.0.x and 2.(1|2) needs to live together in port tree. Like FreeBSD,
apache release cycle includes few beta releases in new stable branch,
even if it's not stable.
Apache 2.0 is growing fast, renaming apache2 port directory should be
done ASAP, IMHO.

You can find a patch here:

What is the status of this repo-copy? It looks like it was never
completed by you.

I'm still waiting for the build Kirill promised me. BTW, patch is
trivial. I just need portmgr approval to modify bsd.port.mk.

OK, we're hoping to do a b.p.m patchset in the next few days. I'll
remind Kirill to include this.

You can find an up to date patch here:

I'll sync www/apache2 and www/apache20 ASAP.
