My current version system (recompiled just after a cvsup). It may not work 9 times and work on the tenth resetting, or it may work at first time (without reseting). My computer still get frozen during boot sequence, when detecting ehci. I recently updated from 5.4-RELENG to 6.0-RELEASE. I noticed my computer sometimes hangs at boot. It hangs after detecting ehci0, at the point marked with *** . I think I can't use debugging features as my keyboard has not been initialized yet when the computer hang. (Resulting lines are not interesting) ... I can't say if the detection is exactly the same The computer is a Pentium4, with an Intel 865 chipset, on an MSI 865PE Neo2 series motherboard. How-To-Repeat: Booting ? Sometimes it works (1/3), sometimes it doesn't. I would say that pressing enter before booting make it works sometimes ? I don't know at all.
