Responsible Changed From-To: freebsd-bugs->freebsd-i386 This sounds as though it might be i386-specific. As I mentioned in the original report this also happens with amd64. Behaviour is slightly different: system boots only with hint.apic.0.disabled=1. SMP kernels don't boot when APIC is enabled no matter if HTT is on or off. -- Oleg Sharoiko.
