Description Oliver Fromme 2006-05-10 17:00:26 UTC
	On the FreeBSD logo page:
	http://www.freebsd.org/logo.html
there is a broken link to the FreeBSD Logo Usage
	Guidelines at The FreeBSD Foundation:
	http://www.freebsdfoundation.org/legal/guidelines.shtml
	That URL doe not exist.
A quick search at freebsdfoundation.org did not
find a document like that. So, where are the logo
usage guildelines? I would like to print the logo
on a FreeBSD DVD that I'm producing for JF Lehmanns,
and need to know whether we need to apply for
	permission to do that.

Fix:

No idea.
How-To-Repeat:
	Go to http://www.freebsd.org/logo.html
And click on the "FreeBSD Logo Usage
	Guidelines at The FreeBSD Foundation".

Hello Oliver,

A couple of days ago there was a mentioning on the www@ mailinglist
that the legal stuff would be available in a couple of days on
the website of the freebsd foundation. Please wait a couple of days
for that to be available...

Cheers,
Remko

What exactly is "a couple of days"? Our DVD is going into
production very soon, so I need to know ASAP whether we may
use the logo or not. Otherwise The FreeBSD DVD will have
to be published without the FreeBSD logo.

Best regards
   Oliver

I just noticed that the link on the logo page has
been fixed. So this PR can be closed. Thanks!

Best regards

It's trivial to make fun of Microsoft products,
but it takes a real man to make them work,
and a God to make them do anything useful.
