Just today I placed the CD-RW in the CD-ROM and tried to boot the CD and displays the following without fail:

I can boot this fine from my USB stick which contains 6.1-RC built on Apr 21.

Fixed by disabling UDMA in the BIOS, as this problem has occured
someone with a Compaq Evo D310:
