As answer to Kris Kennaways mail "[FreeBSD-Announce] Volunteers needed to help maintain ports", and with the information from http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/articles/contributing-ports/adopt-port.html
I would like to maintain the port textproc/da-aspell
I'm from Denmark, and know the guy primary responsible for the original wordlist, so I think it should be quite possible for me to maintain the port.

Fix: 

set MAINTAINER to lasg@lasg.dk

Your proposition is appreciated, but this port is only a slave port:
version number, distinfo and plist are included into textproc/aspell.

There is a project on my TODO-list to separate dictionaries from the
Aspell port, Serge Gagnon already worked on this, but it is not ready.
When done, this port will be really a port, which will install
dictionaries, and it will be possible to add / remove dictionaries
without upgrading Aspell.
