File opened in Open Office; press the 'save' button, and seven messages are appended to /var/log/messages "smb_maperror: Unmapped error 1:158" /etc/fstab entry: //dan@sataraid/computing! /computing smbfs rw 0 0 ~/.nsmbrc and /etc/nsmb.conf [SATARAID] addr=satar5.kpfa.lan [SATARAID:DAN] password=xxxxxxxxxx Opening a terminal, and navigating to the target folder (/computing/docs/journals) and creating/saving a file with vi does NOT cause the messages to appear. Fix: No fix, but I will also contact the Open Office people. How-To-Repeat: Create/change a file using OpenOffice 2.0 and save to samba share on FreeBSD 6.1.

Hi, I have the same problem in FreeBSD 6.1-RELEASE, which runs smbfs to mount filesystems off Samba on another FreeBSD server. Any progress on this problem? Bye, -- Anders.

My workstation is at FreeBSD 6.2-RELEASE-p3 and Open Office is 2.2. I'm also getting Jun 1 11:41:29 xxxxxxxx smbd[95359]: [2007/06/01 11:41:29, 0] smbd/nttrans.c:call_nt_transact_ioctl(2332) Jun 1 11:41:29 xxxxxxxx smbd[95359]: call_nt_transact_ioctl(0x280004): Currently not implemented. in the server's /var/log/messages when someone prints to one of the Samba printers. The server is at FreeBSD 6.1-RELEASE-p11 and smbd version 3.0.23c and the workstations are WinXP and Win2000, using the print drivers on the local machines. Dan Albers
