Description Stefan Sperling 2006-10-15 14:40:18 UTC
I've looked at merging ral from HEAD into RELENG_6.

It is a bit complicated since the newer version of the ral driver
depends on various changes in the net80211 subsystem and bpf.

Especially the bpf changes are a problem, since they seem to
affect a lot of other device drivers as well. I stopped my merging
 efforts there.

I guess running -CURRENT is the best solution if you really need
ral support now. I will probably wait for 7.0-RELEASE, and until
then use my ral card in an OpenBSD box, where it works just fine.
