I have one of these cards that I would like a driver for too. I am willing to give access to the box to any developer that is willing to write a driver for the card. Please contact me if you are willing.

If submitter still have hardware i can try to write driver. -- WBR, Andrey V. Elsukov
Hi, I own a 162XTA2 card as well. Unfortunately mine is, for an unkonwn reason, operating in "cardbus/laptop" mode as I had found out starting adding support to ata. Imho the linux driver did not handle that case either. I guess the el-cheapo card here has some "weired" wiring or missing a pull-up. I did investigate any further time on that 1500ct card. /bz -- Bjoern A. Zeeb bzeeb at Zabbadoz dot NeT Software is harder than hardware so better get it right the first time.
