Description Eugene Gladchenko 2006-11-20 14:00:27 UTC
ppp uses syslog to log information, but since syslogd starts
after ppp at boot nothing is logged to /var/log/ppp.log until
	syslogd is really started.

How-To-Repeat: rcorder /etc/rc.d/* outputs

	...
	/etc/rc.d/ppp
	...
	/etc/rc.d/syslogd
	...

I believe there's a chicken/egg problem here. What if syslogd was on a
remote machine that ppp was required for? Personally I think this risk
is greater than the benefit from adding REQUIRE: syslogd to ppp.
