Description nrgmilk 2008-02-25 07:10:00 UTC
It becomes cp932 without being converted into utf-8 when utf-8:cp932 is done with mount_smbfs and it does.

It is normally converted into eucJP for eucJP:cp932.

How-To-Repeat: client locale : utf-8
samba locale : cp932

Responsible Changed
From-To: freebsd-bugs->freebsd-fs

I dont understand the request, but it's filesystem related, so assign to
-fs group

This issue was resolved by switch to new kiconv in 10-RELEASE.

This problem was that text encoding conversion did not work in mount_smbfs.
