I'll take it.

The port is generally fine. An updated version of the shar file
including a few modification is here:

http://people.freebsd.org/~gahr/plt-scheme.shar

Before committing it, I would like to ask you if you're interesting in
being the maintainer of the port. Generally, we would prefer not to have
new ports maintained by ports@.

Thank you.

Thanks, I'll check that today. I'm working on a follow-up for
version 4.0.1, but the plist is giving me grief...

I can understand that. What does being a "maintainer" involve?
I'm not opposed, in principle, but I can't guarantee any
particular level of extra-curricular activity above what I need
to do anyway to make this useful for myself. In particular, all
of the FreeBSD systems that I run are AMD64, so my test
environment might be atypical.

Cheers,

Andrew

Basically, you're responsible to keep the port up-to-date and to respond
to PRs.

I would take the port myself, but I can barely pronounce "scheme", let
alone using it... What I can offer - and I would be happy to do so - is
test infrastructure (i386 and sparc64) and general support, if you would
agree on taking the port on your shoulder.

Please don't take me as too pushy - up to you to decide :)

Anyway, I'll wait for the follow-up including update to 4.0.1

| Cheers,
