The PLT-Scheme group have released a new version of their Scheme language and IDE tools suite, and here's a port that builds it on FreeBSD. Fix: Please consider the attached port. ----snip---- How-To-Repeat: cd /usr/ports/lang/plt-scheme --> no such file or directory
Responsible Changed From-To: freebsd-ports-bugs->gahr I'll take it.
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA512 The port is generally fine. An updated version of the shar file including a few modification is here: http://people.freebsd.org/~gahr/plt-scheme.shar Before committing it, I would like to ask you if you're interesting in being the maintainer of the port. Generally, we would prefer not to have new ports maintained by ports@. I'm not opposed, in principle, but I can't guarantee any particular level of extra-curricular activity above what I need to do anyway to make this useful for myself. In particular, all of the FreeBSD systems that I run are AMD64, so my test environment might be atypical. Cheers, Andrew

Basically, you're responsible to keep the port up-to-date and to respond to PRs. | I'm not opposed, in principle, but I can't guarantee any | particular level of extra-curricular activity above what I need | to do anyway to make this useful for myself. What I can offer - and I would be happy to do so - is test infrastructure (i386 and sparc64) and general support, if you would agree on taking the port on your shoulder. Please don't take me as too pushy - up to you to decide :) Anyway, I'll wait for the follow-up including update to 4.0.1 | | Cheers, | | Andrew - -- Pietro Cerutti gahr@FreeBSD.org PGP Public Key: http://gahr.ch/pgp -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.9 (FreeBSD) iEYEAREKAAYFAkhpRUUACgkQwMJqmJVx946VdgCgrF8PTTEM+KyW2YG8jEcwXIGU inIAoLwEcmN3a0bNpH5IBwTIucEH4wwD =Z+hW -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
