Download "lists" as a "live" download of approximately 224MB. WILL NOT RUN FROM CD, Insists on Installing. Fix: Remove "installer" and replace with a "run from CD program." How-To-Repeat: Download program ISO. Make CD from image. TRY to run from CD.

The 'livefs' CD does run the installer (sysinstall) as a front-end, but instead of the files needed to install a system, it has a 'live' filesystem which can be accessed via the FixIt menu. That is, once you have a FixIt shell running you can run all the base system FreeBSD utilities from the CD. -- Bruce Cran

I just know that there was NO information referring me to the "fix it" entry, and that starting at the top of the menu wanted to partition and install. When it would NOT run "live" I threw the download disc away since I did NOT want to do an install at that time, and therefore have no way to check it.
