Description Warren A. Hunt Jr. 2010-03-21 20:10:01 UTC
With Apple (MB869LL/A) keyboard attached, boot freezes
after the following line is printed:

ochi0:[ITHREAD]

Using an Apple mouse works fine -- so do other USB mice.

Fix:

I couldn't find a fix. One Google search suggested
disabling "Legacy USB Mode" in BIOS. This prevents the
boot process from even starting no matter what USB
keyboard I tried.
How-To-Repeat: Boot with Apple (MB869LL/A) attached. When using
MicroSoft or Dell keyboards, boot process succeeds.

Does any more information get displayed with a verbose boot ("boot -v")?
