Description paranormal 2010-10-05 13:30:06 UTC
I'm use port sysutils/zfs-snapshot-mgmt.
and this port make many zfs snapshots for checked file systems.

eva02$ zfs list -t snapshot
NAME USED AVAIL REFER MOUNTPOINT
zroot/home@auto-2010-10-03_06.50 616K - 124G -
zroot/home@auto-2010-10-03_07.00 616K - 124G -
zroot/usr@auto-2010-10-02_23.00 250M - 7,91G -
zroot/var@auto-2010-10-02_23.00 49,2M - 572M -

Yesterday, my laptop after 10-15 min work, doesn't work with fs. Gnome scary me, and other programs not write to hd.

Experimentally found problem, this is are
zfs destroy zroot/home@auto-2010-10-03_06.50

This command never by done, and lock fs. Kill and kill -9 not work.
Shutdown too not work, this write:
some process couldn't die, ps axl advised
and nothing.

zpool scrub not helpful, and hdd check built ibm/lenovo bios utility work fine.

Maybe you need other info?

Fix: Comment all in /usr/local/etc/zfs-snapshot-mgmt.conf due home. :(
And not call for current snapshot.

^Triage: I'm sorry that this PR did not get addressed in a timely fashion.

By now, the version that it was created against is long out of support.
As well, many newer versions of ZFS have been imported.

Please re-open if it is still a problem on a supported version.
