The /usr/ports/print/acroread9 port is not usable due to the lack of support in the FreeBSD Linux emulator for the inotify_init syscall. I would suggest that either the port be marked "broken" or some other suitable label so that potential end users do not waste their time in a futile attempt to get the port working only to then discover that it is not going to happen; or update the FreeBSD Linux emulator to properly handle the inotify_init syscall. Fix: Apparently, it requires updating the FreeBSD Linux emulator to handle the inotify_init syscall. How-To-Repeat: Attempt to run the application.

Responsible Changed From-To: hrs->freebsd-emulation Rather assign this one to freebsd-emulation@. The actual issue resides within the Linuxulator. The port maintainer cannot do anything to fix this issue, except marking the port BROKEN.
The port was deprecated on 2014-08-30: Deprecated: many security issues are reported and Adobe no longer actively supports Adobe Reader for Unix
