Description O. Hartmann 2010-10-31 18:40:11 UTC
Having lang/gcc44 already installed and trying to perform an update via 'portmaster' results in the follwoing sticky error. Deleting all sources and distfiles did not help anyway. This happens on different FreeBSD boxes we run at the mment, several FreeBSD 8.1-STABLE/amd64, most recent svn/buildworld as one FreeBSD 9.0-CURRENT/amd64 box, also svn/buildworld most recently.

This is the same is PR 151792 whose synopsis I just adjusted to be more
clear. I had successfully tested the update on i386, and now verified
this again, so it somehow most be specific to amd64. Working on it...

  Modified files:
    lang/gcc44 Makefile distinfo
  Log:
Update to the 20101221 snapshot of GCC 4.4.6.

Finally fix an intricate build error (amd64 only) that has been hard
to reliably track down and unbreak this port on amd64.
