Description Beat Siegenthaler 2010-11-20 22:40:07 UTC
FreeBSD install seem not be possible in any way on this hardware.
I tried several ways to install 7.3|8.1 memstick|cd|dvd amd64|i386

Symptom:
"Turning ASCII wheel" is viewable for a few seconds, then the Server reboots immediately.

Can only boot Linux for providing system info (Fedora13/64bit)

How-To-Repeat: Try installing FreeBSD
Comment 1 Andriy Gapon freebsd_committer freebsd_triage 2010-12-05 14:33:56 UTC
Just to clarify - the reset happens between loader and kernel?
Can you try a recent CURRENT snapshot?

Also, I suggest that you try to discuss this issue on current@ or stable@
mailing list depending on which FreeBSD versions you try.
Thanks!

Not sure if this is how to report more information but I also have a HP
Proliant Microserver running Arch. It has been stable for a couple of
months. Re-booted the box this evening and I am now getting this error which
is stopping the system booting. I am also receiving the following error
above it

'Address Space collision: host bridge window conflicts with ROM'

Any assistance you could offer will be gratefully received

Thanks

Pete
