-Resurrect graphics/rubygem-rmagick -Update to 2.13.1 -Adopt port (unless garga@ would prefer to have it back) graphics-ruby-rmagick does not install the gem that is required by other applications, so I do not believe this is a duplicate. Fix: Patch attached with submission follows:
Responsible Changed From-To: freebsd-ports-bugs->ruby ruby@ wants this port PRs (via the GNATS Auto Assign Tool)
Responsible Changed From-To: ruby->swills I'll take it.
State Changed From-To: open->feedback Trying to look over stale/duplicate PRs ... The port graphics/rubygem-rmagick used to exist and then was deleted about a year ago because it was a duplicate of ruby-rmagick. Is the intention to bring it back under the old name? I have to admit confusion here.
At the moment, swills@ and I are looking into the best way to handle this. ruby-rmagick installs the library(RMagick2.so), but does not register with the gem framework. As a result, Ruby apps that depend on the rmagick gem complain that the gem is not installed. It's on hold at the moment as I look into it a bit more and identify the best way to proceed.
