1080 Progressive scan video of instal attempt from start to freeze-up of BSD can be seen on YouTube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jn2WAc8b_GE . Installation freezes at: "run_interrupt_driven_hooks: still waiting after 60 seconds for xpt_config run_interrupt_driven_hooks: still waiting after 120 seconds for xpt_config run_interrupt_driven_hooks: still waiting after 180 seconds for xpt_config run_interrupt_driven_hooks: still waiting after 240 seconds for xpt_config run_interrupt_driven_hooks: still waiting after 300 seconds for xpt_config" Left to run for 3 hours with no change. Remained at line "run_interrupt_driven_hooks: still waiting after 300 seconds for xpt_config" Fix: Unknown. I am told the problem may be the Firewire port not being accepted by BSD or the fingerprint scanner not being accepted by BSD but I could not say as no information can be pulled as the result of the freeze up at "run_interrupt_driven_hooks: still waiting after 300 seconds for xpt_config". No command line available at that point on. How-To-Repeat: Attempt to install again to repeat problem. Same outcome with every install attampt of PC-BSD 8.2 64-bit and PC-BSD 9.0 Beta2 64-bit.
