Using a dozen epair devices can be awkward. It would be preferable if there were some way to name the devices. The prefix should remain "epair" but everything after that should be able to be specified. epair_a_asterisk/epair_b_asterisk ifconfig epair create namea _a_asterisk nameb _b_asterisk
