Description John Marino 2013-04-01 00:30:00 UTC
security/crack has some serious problems with it.
The most obvious is the pkg-plist which lists a directory, and not the files contained within.
As a result, the package is empty.
When it's added to a repo by pkg, the error "../crack-5.0.txz is not a valid package, no +MANIFEST found" shows.

Fix:

Looking at the makefile, this thing is a mess. It's not just a problem of the plist, the way it's installed is strange too.

I suggest porting the pkgsrc version of it:

I am tired of seeing it on the list. It has been marked broken already,
so no need to keep this PR open.
