Description Florent Peterschmitt 2013-08-14 11:20:00 UTC
Does it makes sense to split the zfs man page in many other man pages, each speaking only about the command itself?

For example:

zfs create -> man zfs-create
zfs snapshot -> man zfs-snapshot

Thanks.

I believe that this issue should be closed, since it is somewhat outdated and irrelevant now, since in version 13.0-RELEASE-p4 man pages are already split.

One can test with:
man zfs-create
man zfs-snapshot
.. etc ..

I do not know since which version this is so.

Man pages have been split up in OpenZFS where FreeBSD 13 makes use of.
