the issue appears with the GENERIC Kernel and a custom build too.
When inserting a usb hdd nothing happends. dmesg shows the following error:

ugen4.2: <TrekStor> at usbus4
umass1: <Bulk Only Interface> on usbus4
umass1:  SCSI over Bulk-Only; quirks = 0x0100
umass1:10:1:-1: Attached to scbus10
ugen4.2: <TrekStor> at usbus4 (disconnected)
umass1: at uhub4, port 5, addr 2 (disconnected)
(probe0:umass-sim1:1:0:0): INQUIRY. CDB: 12 0 0 0 24 0 
(probe0:umass-sim1:1:0:0): CAM status: CCB request completed with an error
(probe0:umass-sim1:1:0:0): Retrying command
