Update sysutils/condor to version 8.0.3. The attached patch also makes it use STAGE and build with GCC on CURRENT (clang doesn't work for various reasons). One other note: condor source files actually are redistributable (it is Apache licensed). FreeBSD would just have to host them itself. Fix: Patch attached with submission follows:
Maintainer of sysutils/condor, Please note that PR ports/182635 has just been submitted. Thanks! One thing that I mentioned in the PR is that I buttonholed one of the Condor people. Apparently Condor is redistributable (OSG, Red Hat, and Debian do it, for instance) but only so long as you don't use UW's hosting. It might be nice to do this for FreeBSD. -Nathan On 10/04/13 08:54, Jason Bacon wrote: > Will start testing and report back ASAP. > > Thanks, > > JB > > On 10/04/13 08:20, Edwin Groothuis wrote: >> Maintainer of sysutils/condor, >> >> Please note that PR ports/182635 has just been submitted. >> >> If it contains a patch for an upgrade, an enhancement or a bug fix >> you agree on, reply to this email stating that you approve the patch >> and a committer will take care of it. >> >> The full text of the PR can be found at: >> http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=ports/182635 >>
Can we close the issue?
Yes. This seems to have been finished with r343252 in February.
