Description vsjcfm 2013-12-19 13:20:00 UTC
When xscreensaver is running, I can see a mouse pointer all the time.

How-To-Repeat: Just run xscreensaver.

Can you explain in more detail exactly what you mean please. Is it when
the screensaver is going, or only when the dialog asking for login is?
Does it happen with all screensavers? Is it a regression with the last
update?
Regards!

I have a random screensaver enabled in KDE, so the problem persists
with all savers.
What happens: when idle timeout is reached, KDE launches saver and it
must hide mouse pointer (correct me if I wrong, maybe pointer must be
disabled by KDE?). This doesn't works: I can see pointer all the time
when saver is running (when unlock dialog isn't shown, of course).
Unfortunately, my system is just installed, so I don't know if this
problem is actual for previous versions.

kdeartwork4 package depends on xscreensaver and adds an ability to use
that savers in KDE.

Is the reported issue still a problem?
Comment 6 Walter Schwarzenfeld freebsd_triage 2018-01-10 10:42:57 UTC
Same question? Or can this closed?

Closing this, since no submitter response since 2015.
