Does this problem still occur in newer versions of FreeBSD,
such as 4.3-RELEASE?

I'd like to report that the slow receive on 3Com cards still exists in 4.7-R.

The speed seems to improve when i LOWER the receive buffers, but it does
not seem to eliminate it completely.

I'm using a 3Com 3c905-TX Fast Etherlink XL PCI card, which is connected
to a Netgear Switch (100mbit full duplex).
