Squid segfaults when a 'cache_dir' of type 'aufs' is configured in squid.conf. i.E.: cache_dir aufs /var/squid/cache 500 16 256 Same configuration with 'aufs' changed to 'ufs' works without a problem. How-To-Repeat: Set up squid to use a cache directory of type 'aufs' and try to start squid.
Responsible Changed From-To: freebsd-ports-bugs->tmseck Over to maintainer (via the GNATS Auto Assign Tool)
Here is why it's broken http://freebsd.1045724.n5.nabble.com/Squid-aufs-crashes-under-10-0-td5883841.html
The maintainer has been reset in all squid ports, throw squid PRs back on heap
