I managed to successfully mount two ZFS filesets at the same mountpoint: /

root@marie:~ # zfs mount green/ROOT/default
root@marie:~ # df -h

I am aware this is a case of PEBKAC, but this should not be possible.

How-To-Repeat: Use zroot + mount disk image of another zroot at the same time without changing mountpoints.

^Triage: I'm sorry that this PR did not get addressed in a timely fashion.

By now, the version that it was created against is long out of support.
As well, many newer versions of ZFS have been imported.

Please re-open if it is still a problem on a supported version.
