Description Dru Lavigne freebsd_committer freebsd_triage 2014-05-20 16:20:00 UTC
The doc component in bsdinstall is deceptive as it installs the historical documentation rather than the Handbook, FAQ, and articles, which is probably what the user is looking for.

While the docsinstall script is available for this purpose, it is not hooked into bsdinstall and only uses pkg_add. As written, it also assumes a working Internet connection even though bsdinstall does not offer to setup networking pre-install unless the media is boot-only.
