Description Enji Cooper freebsd_committer freebsd_triage 2014-07-28 08:46:52 UTC
My disk isn't found with my ZFS on root system when I upgraded from 9.2-RELEASE-p10 to 9.3-RELEASE.

The issue is like I described in this thread: http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-stable/2013-July/074381.html (I suspected the cause was related to ACPI changes).

boot -v didn't help and I can't scroll back of bug 133989.

I posted a screenshot to https://people.freebsd.org/~ngie/bayonetta-mountroot-panic-PR-192183.jpg . The information I have suggests that ACPI isn't to blame (like jhb suggested). The real issue is somewhere between geom and ZFS probably: http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-stable/2014-August/079582.html

This bug is probably a duplicate of another bug I filed approximately 2 years ago. I'll add all of the relevant information to that bug...
