Description rsecor 2014-08-01 17:20:23 UTC
Attempting to install a new system.
After updating /usr/ports I:
(1) cd /usr/ports/ports-mgmt/pkg
(2) make
And get back a message:
"/usr/ports/ports-mgmt/pkg/work/pkg-1.3.4/missing: autoconf: not found
WARNING: 'autoconf' is missing on your system.
         You should only need it if you modified 'configure.ac',
         or m4 files included by it.
         The 'autoconf' program is part of the GNU Autoconf package:
         <http://www.gnu.org/software/autoconf/>
         It also requires GNU m4 and Perl in order to run:
         <http://www.gnu.org/software/m4/>
         <http://www.perl.org/>"

Previously it would be detected that autoconf, etc, would be prerequirements for pkg and would be installed as needed. However, it appears this is not currently happening.

Thanks.

That looks like you have maybe a ntp/date problem?

This worked as expected after the next change to the port.
It had nothing to do with a datetime stamp.
