I normally require proof (e.g. redports or poudriere logs) on staging PRs that it actually works.

I'll take a chance and declare this "patch-ready" because the changes look minimal. Still, if you get a chance, run "make clean ; make check-plist ; make stage-qa" and make sure it's probably good.

I think there's been a mistake.

There are two attachments on this PR, each do something something (rather than one being set to "obsolete") and neither remove MANCOMPRESSED. Can you take a look again?

New diff obsoletes others. For the first patch, I was working from an old copy of portdir from before I installed poudriere. In the meantime, someone had staged the port and removed MANCOMPRESSED.

okay, that would explain it, thanks

The patch didn't apply cleanly. I checked the latest version and nobody staged it; nobody removed MANCOMPRESSED.

So I think there is some confusion somewhere.

I must have patched my ports tree by mistake. Did a portsnap extract and generated another diff.
Comment 12 jimmy 2014-08-10 16:11:05 UTC
Thomas Abthorpe did stage some of my ports thus the confusion.
