At first I tough this was related to the vt(4)/xorg-input-keyboard issues, but those are now gone and I can use every app normaly, urxvt and firefox, pidgin all work fine, but chromium doesn't.

This happens at least in chromium-37.0.2062.94 and chromium-37.0.2062.120_2, and its affecting both FreeBSD-10 and 11-current so the issue is most likely in just the chromium port or maybe chromium it self!

"Compose" key isn't working either, if I write "compose + ` + a" I get "`a" instead of "à".

Any comments from the maintainer?

I keep getting the same issue....

´a ´e `a `e ~a ..... thats all I get .... however ç works fine so it seems to affect accents only.

(same in the last version)

Same in  version 38...

This really makes the browser unusable to me and probably most users hat need the same characters.
