Description Leif Velcro 2014-09-26 04:57:28 UTC
The libwww port will not build when the security/openssl port is compiled without support for SSLv2. This is a new (and very useful) feature of openssl.

A sample complaint line, before the exit code 1:
../../Library/src/SSL/.libs/libwwwssl.so: undefined reference to `SSLv2_client_method'

This is related to this report: https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=193482

As mentioned, there might be other ports that are broken as well. I'll note them if I find them.

As of January 11, 2015, this issue has been addressed: https://svnweb.freebsd.org/ports/head/www/libwww/?view=log

So this one can probably be closed.
