Description Edward Armes 2014-12-12 10:49:34 UTC
graphics/jpeg (creates file jmorecfg.h) has added a Boolean definition that seems to break with other ports which have existing definitions of TRUE and FALSE.

A fix here seems to work:- https://trac.macports.org/ticket/37982#comment:10

Hi,

Are you speaking about jpeg 8d which is in ports right now or jpeg 9a?
As far as I know, the boolean definition from version vanilla jpeg 9a breaks
some ports but the version from version 8d doesn't.

I am indeed talking about version 9

As I can't seem to edit my response

JPEG-9 as far I can see is the default when building from the ports tree

It's not, the ports tree has jpeg 8d

I though that was rather odd as I only build of the ports tree and somehow I've ended up building of 9a for which I can't quite understand?

ok, it seems you were unlucky and updated jpeg on 10 december 2014 between 15:30 UTC and 15:52 UTC, please downgrade to version 8d and sorry for the inconvenience
