svn diff for net/xrdesktop

net/xrdesktop has been fairly unmaintained, as is the currently
listed WWW -- domain expired 2 weeks ago, and is now a 403 to
godaddy. As a result, a new GTK2 version has been created to
replace it: net/xrdesktop2
This version is more modern, and is actively developed, and

Please note that 2015-02-30 is an impossible date.

I'll make it 2015-02-28, the last day of the month.

A commit references this bug:

Author: madpilot
Date: Sun Feb 1 11:11:47 UTC 2015
New revision: 378239
URL: https://svnweb.freebsd.org/changeset/ports/378239

  Deprecate net/xrdesktop:

Upstream disappeared and software has been unmaintained for years.

Please use the drop-in replacement net/xrdesktop2 instead.

Comment 3 Guido Falsi freebsd_committer 2015-02-01 11:12:48 UTC

I did not tough the pkg-descr file, since this isn't standard practice. The deprecated notice will be displayed to anyone trying to install the port or package anyway.

I also added conflicts with the new net/xrdesktop2 port.

Ugh, of course. Sorry.
