The installation of Oracle8i v.2 (8.1.6) triggers a bug in the linuxerator. Actually the bug is triggered by the built-in IBM-Java-JRE 1.1.8 which shows while trying to execute a java program endless 'kernel trap 9 with interrupts disabled' and two 'sigaltstack: too few memory' on the console. Fix: unknown. How-To-Repeat: Just download Oracle8i v.2 (8.1.6) for linux from http://otn.oracle.com (288MB) and try to install.
Responsible Changed From-To: gnats-admin->marcel Marcel is MR Linux, allow him to take care of this.
Responsible Changed From-To: marcel->emulation Assign to emulation@FreeBSD.org. It is not going to be addressed if it's assigned to me and I don't do it. Maintainership of the Linuxulator has been passed on to emulation@FreeBSD.org as well.
State Changed From-To: open->closed Close this PR. Oracle 8i is too old and the Linux emulation has changed significantly since filing of this PR. I don't think there is much use in tracking this down after this much time has passed.
