Description Walter von Entferndt 2015-04-08 14:52:25 UTC
pkg (install script or pkg2ng or 1st run) should disable the old periodic scripts in /etc/periodic/* e.g. by deleting them or chmod'ing the executable bit. One gets junk mails about old packages otherwise after switching to pkgng. At least please include a hint in the pkg's message.

Is this still relevant?

Thanks for the prod, I'll close it out.
