Description ml 2015-07-15 12:29:18 UTC
Running 10.x with a kernel with IPv6 disabled, nmap does not work:

> # nmap -sP -PI 10.1.2.0/24
>
> Starting Nmap 6.47 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2015-07-15 12:58 CEST
> route_dst_generic: Failed to obtain system routes: getsysroutes_dnet: sysroutes_dnet_find_interfaces() failed

It does not matter whether port's "IPV6" option is enabled or not.
9.x and kernels with "options INET6" are not affected.

Is this still relevant.
No maintainer feedback till now.

(In reply to w.schwarzenfeld from comment #1)

I just recompiled my 11.1 kernel without INET6 and nmap 7.40 works fine.
However I have no 10.x box anymore to try this on.

As far as I'm concerned, we can close this (unless someone wants to try 10.4).

Thanks for the attention.
