Description martin.dieringer 2015-08-20 12:33:47 UTC
As there ist no avidemux_gtk port, this one should build the gtk executable?
Comment 1 Thomas Zander freebsd_committer freebsd_triage 2015-08-26 05:29:55 UTC
At the moment, there is no GTK UI for avidemux, only QT.
Comment 2 martin.dieringer 2015-08-26 06:24:36 UTC
What is the avidemux port good for, then?
There is the avidemux/gtk subdir in the distribution.

(In reply to martin.dieringer from comment #2)

multimedia/avidemux is the master port; it builds the common components used by the avidemux frontends.

At the moment, we have those two frontends:
multimedia/avidemux-cli
multimedia/avidemux-qt4

You don't have to build/install multimedia/avidemux itself. It gets pulled in as dependency when you install either of the frontends.

Ok, maybe the COMMENT or pkg-descr could be updated accordingly ...
